Pepsi Mango Is Now a Permanent Flavor, and It Comes in a Zero Sugar Version
It’s no surprise that brands from Angry Orchard to White Claw are getting in on the mango game in time for summer, but that doesn’t lessen our excitement. The next time you stroll through the beverage aisle at the grocery store, you just might come across the Pepsi Mango, the latest variety to earn a permanent spot in the brand’s portfolio.
If Pepsi Mango is sounding familiar to you, that’s probably because you gave it a try back in 2019. It was introduced as a limited-edition flavor along with Pepsi Berry and Pepsi Lime. Now Pepsi Mango is coming back to shelves and sticking around for good. There’s nothing worse than falling in love with a limited-edition product, so thank you, Pepsi, for saving us the heartache (again).
Pepsi Mango will begin rolling out at grocery stores, mass retailers, and convenience stores nationwide beginning on March 22. You’ll be able to get it in 12-ounce 12-packs and 20-ounce bottles. So prepare to taste the refreshing combination of cola with a splash of sweet mango fruit flavor. This is Pepsi’s first permanent flavor launch in 5 years, so it’s even a bigger deal. Plus, it’s also available in a Zero Sugar version to satisfy those who want the soda without the toothache.
“Our consumers are always looking for new and exciting flavors, so we couldn’t be more excited to introduce them to Pepsi Mango. Our team has created a surprisingly perfect match with Pepsi Mango, combining the delicious taste of Pepsi cola with the flavor of a sweet, juicy mango,” Todd Kaplan, vice president of marketing, Pepsi, said in a press release.
Keep an eye out on your TV, because Pepsi has put together a national commercial with the top-40 hit “Take You Dancing” by Jason Derulo. The idea is that cola and mango are the perfect match in a can — but we’ll let you be the judge of that.
