People Who Work At Weddings, We Want To Know The Messiest Thing You've Witnessed Go Down

Weddings can be highly emotional. Whether they are the best day of someone's life, or perhaps one of the worst, they're bound to be memorable (and not just for the couple and their guests). The people who work weddings and strive to keep them running smoothly are the ones who tend to walk away with the best (and wildest) stories.

Perhaps you were working as a caterer at a wedding where it was clear the couple's parents did NOT get along. As the dance floor got busier and the guests got tipsier, you noticed both mothers trying to dance with the couple. One mom was clearly feeling left out and frustrated, and you watched as she pushed the other mother to the ground and yelled, "Don't be such an attention whore!"

Or maybe you were coordinating a wedding for a young couple who really didn't seem compatible. The bride wanted an intimate ceremony and reception, and the groom wanted a total rager. Inevitably, the reception turned into quite the party once the groom and his friends got drunk and rowdy. After a few too many drinks, the groom started dancing up on the bride, froze, then projectile-vomited all over her dress. The bride burst into tears and hid in the bathroom for the rest of the night.

Or perhaps you were a wedding DJ, and the couple had given you a list of songs they did NOT want played, including "Cha Cha Slide." A drunk guest, of course, decided they would not rest until "Cha Cha Slide" was played. You explained that it was on the "no play" list per the couple, but the guest wouldn't take no for an answer. Before you knew it, he slapped you across the face. He was escorted out, and you awkwardly spent the rest of the night playing slow, docile songs.
