It's officially December, which means we can blast Mariah Carey's "All I Want For Christmas Is You" without any shame. We can start baking and snacking on holiday cookies. And some of our favorite theme parks across the country are getting into the Christmas spirit.

We've celebrated the holidays at parks like Disney World, Universal Orlando Resort, and even Holiday World in Santa Claus, Indiana. But few places get as festive as Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. This theme park is co-owned by none other than Dolly Parton herself. And in honor of the holidays, Dollywood is celebrating a Smoky Mountain Christmas—complete with plenty of festive entertainment, six million lights, and lots of cozy Christmas food.

The food at Dollywood's A Smoky Mountain Christmas fuses all of your favorite holiday flavors with a hearty dose of Southern comfort. And with as many decadent and delicious items available at the park, it's nearly impossible to decide what to try. Thankfully, our host Adriana Redding ate her way through the park to find the best of the best.

Here are the six can't-miss food and drink items at Dollywood's A Smoky Mountain Christmas:

Best Drink: Wassail, $5.99

You can't fully immerse yourself in the Christmas spirit without sipping on a hot drink (sorry, we don't make the rules). And at Dollywood, our favorite cozy beverage is wassail. This traditional Yuletide drink is essentially a fancy version of spiced apple cider. It's stewed with plenty of warm spices like allspice and nutmeg. It's sweet, spiced, and perfect for a day at Dollywood.

Best Meatless Option: Margherita Flatbread, $12.99

Pizza is a fairly standard theme park food, but the margherita flatbread at Dollywood is anything but average. The crust is light and crisp while providing the perfect foundation for the bright tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, and fresh basil. It's big enough to share and substantial enough to enjoy as a vegetarian entree.

Best For Sharing: Chipotle Turkey Nachos, $13.99

Imagine the best nachos you've ever had, and then make them Christmas-themed. These chipotle turkey nachos are stacked with tender shredded turkey that's seasoned with a sweet and spicy chipotle honey sauce. Add in cheese, white queso, pico de gallo, and plenty of pickled jalapeños and you have a snack that's perfect for sharing.

Best Entree: Pot Roast Mac & Cheese, $10.99

We've tried just about every theme park mac and cheese under the sun. So we don't take it lightly when we say that this is probably the best we've ever had. This creamy, cozy cavatappi pasta (which is the best noodle shape, in our opinion) is delicious enough on its own. But then Dollywood ups the ante by topping it with a hearty amount of tender and savory pot roast and crispy fried onions.

Best Dessert: Eggnog Cupcake, $6.49

Eggnog may be a polarizing holiday staple, but even the staunchest eggnog skeptics will love this cupcake. The cake itself is rich and decadent and the cream cheese frosting evokes the flavors of eggnog with the addition of nutmeg. It's sweet, a little tangy, and totally unique.

Best Snack: Cinnamon Bread, $10.99

One of the most iconic foods to come out of Dollywood is, without question, their famous cinnamon bread. Each pull-apart piece of fluffy bread is covered in a buttery cinnamon sugar coating. It's like the center of the best cinnamon roll you've ever had—in loaf form. And you can dip it in your choice of apple butter or their classic icing. The fact that this treat is available year round is a Christmas miracle.
