People Think This Mom and Her Daughters Are Sisters, and We Can See Why

Natalie Wardell, 45, in Central Coast, Australia, has a unique problem. People keep confusing her and her oldest daughters, Jazmyne and Tamika, for sisters.

“People ask if we’re sisters all the time, and some even think Jazmyne is my mom because she’s so tall and I’m so short,” the mom of three told the Daily Mail.

Though she’s twice the age of her oldest daughter — Jazmyne is 21 and Tamika is 19 — the trio are still often mistaken for sisters. The three even go clubbing together and to the movies.

“I guess it’s a compliment to me, but people will say things like, ‘You try to copy them,’ but I mean I’ve had long blond hair since I was 15. It’s just genetics,” says Wardell.

The tight-knit family also shares a passion for cars. “Every weekend as a family we try to go to a car event,” said Wardell, who has another teenage daughter, Montana. “Two of them are into cars but one’s not, which is good for my husband because he doesn’t have any sons at all.”

Wardell said she met her husband when she stopped to admire his car while out shopping one day. The family attends car events across the country, and Jazmyne is in the process of building her own car.
