People Think Harry & Meghan Are Having Kids Soon Because of His Car
Prince Harry is selling his car. The vehicle is a luxe 2017 Audi RS6 Avant, and it's been acquired by a dealership-Overton Prestige in Derbyshire-where it's listed for £71,900 (over $92,000).
If you're not interested in its mileage or horsepower, perhaps you'll recognize the vehicle from its famous cameo at Pippa Middleton's wedding in May 2017. Prince Harry was seen driving out of the ceremony in the car to pick up his then-girlfriend Meghan Markle and was later spotted driving into the reception with her in the front seat. (A year later, the two had a wedding of their own.)
However, a detail on the car's Auto Trader listing makes the sale even more interesting. As Cosmopolitan points out, Auto Trader's editorial director Erin Baker posed an intriguing question: "17 reg and low mileage, so it begs the questions why is the prince selling so soon?... Maybe he's on the market for a bigger family car."
Now, it's unclear whether anyone from the royal family specifically confided in Baker with that piece of information. A spokesperson told BBC that "due to data protection," the dealership "can't confirm who sold the vehicle but we are completely satisfied that this car was used personally by Prince Harry over the course of the last year."
Yet, fans (including Erin Baker, apparently) continue to speculate whether Harry and Meghan are welcoming any little ones soon. Baby fever especially arose after the couple was seen bonding with children and young fans during their royal trip to Ireland last month.
