People Think Donald Trump Has Stopped Coloring His Hair Since the Election

Donald Trump has yet to concede the 2020 presidential election to Joe Biden. Instead he continues to claim fraud without a shred of proof and despite the fact that Biden won the popular vote (plus more than enough votes in the Electoral College). While he’s very much back on Twitter, the president has not made many public appearances since election night.

But when he has taken the podium—as on November 13—people have noticed a change in his appearance. The blond comb-over the world is used to seeing looks a bit grayer these days. The reason for this is unclear. Is Donald Trump trying to look more serious post-election? Is he bummed that he lost and neglecting his usual beauty routine? Does his colorist have COVID-19? I hope not, but given how many in the president’s inner circle have contracted the virus, it’s certainly in play.

The color change has not gone unnoticed on social media. “Did Trump go gray in 5 days?” one person tweeted. “So Donnie, can we talk about this new, sassy hair color of yours? Were you visited by the ghosts of ALL the Christmases last night, or have you just aged ten years over the last week?” another person wrote. A third added, “Holy COW... Trump went gray since he LOST THE ELECTION!!”

This isn’t the first time people have wondered if Trump stopped coloring his hair. There was a similar buzz back in March as the pandemic set in. The president probably won’t let us in on his hair color routine any time soon, so I suppose we’ll all just have to wait and see what the comb-over looks like the next time he addresses the nation. Maybe when he…concedes?
