Taco Bell Is Testing Shredded Chicken Tacos And There Are 3 Different Flavors
If you're a fan of Taco Bell, these past few weeks have been a lot. The taco chain brought back its rolled chicken taco party pack, released a whole new line of holiday merch, and now, to top it all off, people are spotting shredded chicken tacos at Taco Bell for only one dollar. It's a wonderful life.
The shredded chicken tacos are seemingly being tested at select Taco Bell locations in Phoenix, Arizona. For that one dollar, you can choose between three different sauce flavors: spicy ranch, creamy chipotle, or buffalo.
The tacos come in a soft shell and are filled with the shredded chicken and a sauce of your choice, as well as lettuce, crunchy red tortilla chip strips, and cheddar cheese. The tortilla chip strips add a crunch to the soft shell taco, for sure.
YouTuber Rodrick Eats was one of the first to review the new tacos online, and he said that these shredded tacos might just be a better bang for your buck than the rolled chicken tacos you know and love. "I definitely think they're a better deal than the rolled tacos because those are basically a dollar as well and with these you get a lot more stuff in it," he said.
In Rodrick's video, these shredded chicken tacos do look pretty stuffed, so it's nice to know it's worth the four quarters. There's no telling if these bad boys will see a nationwide launch, but hopefully with good reviews the meal will make its way to a Taco Bell near you. Fingers crossed!
