"I Still Dream About Her Walk In Closet": People Are Sharing The Homes From TV And Movies That Live Rent-Free In Their Heads

Several weeks ago, as I watched murder after murder unfold in Season 4 of the Netflix series You, I couldn't take my eyes off of one thing: Joe's perfect London flat.
It got me thinking about all the fictional homes I've loved before, so I asked the BuzzFeed Community to tell me about their home crushes from TV and movies, and it's truly the coziest thing. Here's what they had to say:
1."Umm, every millennial girl would definitely choose Jenna Rink's apartment from 13 Going on 30. The scene of her getting ready for her party while 'I Wanna Dance with Somebody' plays lives rent-free in my dreams! I still dream about her walk-in closet filled with everything that you could need as a 13-year-old stuck in a 30-year-old body!"

2."Steve Martin’s apartment in Only Murders in the Building. I’m obsessed with the patterns and the colors, and the secret passage."
Aside from, you know, the murders, I'd take any spot in that building if I could afford it.

3."I will ALWAYS love the beachside apartment that Donna, Kelly, and Clare shared on Beverly Hills, 90210. I just thought it was the coolest! I still want that wooden bookshelf with the moon and stars carved into it!"
That bookshelf needs to come get in my bedroom, and I wouldn't mind having that chair around either.

The scenes in this house are very dark, literally and figuratively, but I'm not complaining about the modern vibe and cool lighting in the garage.

Just look at that classic old New York City building.
And this rooftop patio!! Is that a mimosa I see? I've never watched this show, but I might have to for this apartment alone.
7."I don't know if this counts, but I always wanted to live on the Starship Enterprise (from The Next Generation). All the rooms on it were so plush and luxurious, and I loved the warm colors and moody lighting. A little '80s, but not the tacky side of the '80s. And who wouldn't want a replicator?"

The perfect place to accidentally catfish your nemesis and fall in love.
9."Susan's or Lynette's house on Desperate Housewives. I loved Susan's kitchen, and Lynette's was so homely."

Frasier's apartment was exactly what my kid-self hoped I would have as an adult, back before I understood rent or whatever. Anyway, here's the absolute genius who designed it walking us through the set:

14."Lorelai and Rory's house in Gilmore Girls! Talk about nostalgia. Warm colors, cool decorations, wraparound porch. The opposite of millennial gray, and not teeming with tropical plants either like you see in a lot of curated spaces now."
Raise your hand if Gilmore Girls is one of your comfort shows 🙋🏼♀️. I swear just seeing the tiles on their kitchen counter gives me a wave of serotonin.
15."Otis and his mother Jean's house in Sex Education. I'm probably too cowardly to live on the slope side of a mountain, but I love the idea of sitting on the porch where I enjoy my cuppa and the landscape."
