25 Movies Critics Absolutely Hated, And Yet...These People Still Loved Them, Flaws And All
My favorite movie, Major Payne (1995), is considered a "BAD" movie, with a 29% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, but the predictable plot and quotable dialogue are so stupid that I think it's actually charming.
I'm so glad I'm not alone! Reddit user u/ThatIowanGuy asked, "What is your favorite 'Bad' movie?" People shared their favorite films despite their extremely low Rotten Tomatoes scores, and their terrible tastes have my full support!
Here are 25 reaaaalllly bad movies that are so terrible they're actually pretty awesome.

Growing up in the '90s, I loved The Postman and Waterworld; both really pulled at my imagination.

He really only had, like, two minutes of screen time, and he shared a good chunk of it with probably my favorite Tim Curry performance."

I also love the first-person shooter scene. I know, I know, it's cheesy and dumb, but the music and the monsters all look so cool in a kind of dumb but entertaining way.
It's my guilty pleasure movie. I watch it, like, once a month. LMAO."

"Without a Paddle. 14% on Rotten Tomatoes. I never see it mentioned anywhere, but I absolutely loved the movie as a kid, and it’s still great. It’s a fun movie with three actors that you can tell really loved working with each other and had fun making the movie. It’s got a great soundtrack, a ridiculous, campy plot, and Burt Reynolds as a backcountry hermit!"
23.Sucker Punch (2011)
"Sucker Punch. It's Zack Snyder at his most indulgent and worst impulses: bad/barebones script, a ridiculous amount of CGI, all flash and no substance, etc. But it's fun as hell, like a really long, really badass video game cut scene."
