Reddit user u/MysticalMoonbow recently asked: "What animated series taught you a valuable lesson?" And people shared so many great things that they're even still using today. Here's what they said:

1. "I’ve been rewatching Teen Titans, and there’s a lot of good episodes about integrity, and being a hero. To quote Starfire: 'You may not value my life; but I still value yours.'"

2. "BoJack Horseman helped me become more self-aware of my actions, and to put myself in other people’s shoes."

3. "Uncle Iroh from Avatar: The Last Airbender and Samurai Jack are two amazing examples of positive masculinity. They are obviously tough and capable, but those aren't their defining traits. It's how they use them to better their world that matters. Oh, and they did make mistakes and learned from them, showing that you can grow as a person."

4. "Hey Arnold! taught me a lot of lessons as a kid. From 'Winning isn't everything' to 'Accepting who you are' to 'City life can suck at times.' It really was a fantastic show."

9. "Shego from Kim Possible taught me that it's perfectly okay to not be in charge because sometimes, being the boss is the worst position."

10. "In The Owl House, Eda says, 'Look, kid, everyone wants to believe they're "chosen." But if we all waited around for a prophecy to make us special, we'd die waiting. And that's why you need to choose yourself.' Seriously, this quote impacted me the most. I'll miss that show forever."
