Recently, Reddit user u/Thedarthlord895 posed the question , "What celebrity do you suspect is an all-around good person?" NBC
And there were so many great answers! Here are some of the top-voted responses: 1. Tom Hiddleston "I met him a few years ago at a convention. He was very kind to everyone and a perfect gentleman. I tried to thank him for the things he's said in interviews that inspired me to get back into writing, and he kind of demurred and said he was only repeating good advice he'd been given himself. But at the end, as I was leaving, he called out my name, and when I turned around, he looked me in my eyes and said, 'Keep writing.'"

"A theater tech friend of mine toured with him and Sir Patrick Stewart on Waiting for Godot . Usually the 'talent' doesn't really mingle with the lowly backstage technicians, but my friend was a real favorite on the crew. Everyone knew he was a comic book nerd, so on his birthday, they brought out a Wolverine birthday cake and all sang 'Happy Birthday.' Then Sir Ian and Sir Patrick performed a scene as Magneto and Professor X for him and made his year."

"I got to meet him and get a picture with him at a convention one time, and he is the NICEST guy! The convention staff was trying to get us to rush, take the picture, and then move on, but he kept telling them to slow down so he could at least say hi, ask for our names, and ask how we were all doing. He was just overall really respectful and treated us all like actual people. Best experience with a celebrity at a con I've had in a long time."

Eugene Gologursky / Getty Images for ReedPOP 9. Hugh Jackman "I remember that a few years back, on a similar thread, someone recalled seeing Hugh Jackman in a restaurant. They made eye contact, and the OP visibly had an expression that he recognized him, but he didn't go up to him and bug him, just went to his table with his girlfriend. After Hugh finished his meal, he went over to them, thanked them for their discretion, and spent a few minutes shooting the shit with them. That anecdote stuck with me!"

"Dolly Parton is a big part of the reason the Moderna vaccine was a viable thing financially, due to a sizable donation from her. Read a thing once saying that — while she’s a millionaire — the only reason she isn't a billionaire is because she gives so much of her money away."

Viggo Mortensen "I watched a video about a guy trying to listen to all the Buckethead albums, but he got stuck on trying to find some of the collabs he did with Viggo Mortensen. He sent Viggo's agent an email explaining his project and asking if they knew where he could get the missing albums. Viggo ended up sending them all to him for free, as well as a letter thanking him for having an interest in his music."

"I worked on an overnight shoot with Danny Trejo on a low-budget independent film. It was going on 14 hours, and they just gave us McDonald's as our second meal. Everyone was not in the best mood, and then I saw Danny sitting there with a huge smile on his face. I asked him, 'And why are you so happy?' He replied, 'I have friends who have to wake up in an hour to mix cement all day, and I get to make movies with you guys.' It was the morale boost we needed."
