People Are Obsessed With The ‘Nacho Table’ Trend On TikTok That Pretty Much Covers A Whole Table With Food

From Delish

Every good idea I've gotten over the last few months I got from TikTok. The content just keeps coming, too, and this nacho table is the latest chaotic video to get my attention. You can pretty host an entire nacho night as long as you have a table you're willing to cover in edible goodness. Let's get into it, shall we?

The initial video was posted by @stefherder on TikTok, but tons of people have tried it since. The video has over 3.5 million views and 580,000 likes, so it's safe to say people are truly mesmerized by the idea. Basically, this family makes a "nacho table" for dinner during family vacation, and all it takes is large quantities of your favorite nacho toppings to accomplish it.

First things first, it's important to cover the table with something that will make clean up easy. In the video, they used tinfoil, but I'm sure a plastic table cloth would work just as well—think about what you'd use for a tabletop seafood boil. Then, they covered the table in enough chips for the whole family. Depending on the size of your household, this part will vary, but you want to be sure there are enough chips to hold all of the toppings you could dream of.

This family made ground beef and queso to spread around on all of the chips on the table, and added other toppings like guacamole, jalapeños, onions, peppers, lettuce, and salsa to the middle of the table so people could use those as they pleased. At the end, the clip shows each member of the family claiming their own corner of the table and putting their preferred toppings on their little section to eat.

Anything bigger is better, so of course this nacho table looks like a great idea. It also requires virtually no clean up, as I imagine once everyone is done grazing you can just roll up the tin foil or whatever you used to cover the table and toss it all out. Pair this with a pitcher of margarita and it's basically the ideal dinner. Thanks again, TikTok!
