People Have Mixed Feelings About Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's Wax Figures

I'm a little scared.

If you've been in London, you may have seen Prince Harry and Meghan Markle out and about — or their wax figures, at least. Madame Tussauds, the wax museum known for lifelike wax-replicas of your favorite celebs, recently toured them around the city for a photoshoot, Entertainment Tonight reports. And while royal-family-spotting may sound like an exciting thing, people seem to mostly be creeped out by them.

“OMG! Harry and Meghan gave us a sneak peek into what a #DayInTheLife of the Royal newlyweds is like and all we can say is… #CoupleGoals!” Madame Tussauds' Instagram reads. Photos show the couple strolling in the park, sitting together at a table in a restaurant, and walking Meghan's cute Beagle named Guy. People soon flocked to the picture with comments such as, "The Harry is really creepy doesn't look right at all," "Why they do Meghan like this? Something is off," and simply just: "Creepy."

Others defended the wax royals, jumping in on the Instagram to say "It's a bit of fun...they're not supposed to be body doubles!" And then there were the folks who — and I'm not making this up — seem to think that the picture was of the actual Meghan and Harry, but with masks. Insert face-palm emoji here.

The statue of Meghan was added to the collection a few months ago. When they debuted in the museum, Meghan and Harry were both wearing their engagement clothes, and Meghan had her ring on. People seem equally creeped out when the first photos of the wax royal couple were released, with comments like"This is not what Megan looks like y'all." In all fairness, though, you'd expect wax figures to look pretty different from the real-life people they represent, given that they're...y'know...not human? If we're looking to spot the real couple, we're better off relying on Kensington Palace's Instagram, or the many fashion blogs dedicated to Meghan's impeccable style.
