People Are Melting Their Faces In the Name of Halloween

This year for Halloween, makeup artists are basically going as "you in mid-August," with makeup melting off their faces in horrific fashion. From liquefied Barbie to drippy decomposing grins, the super gross trend is heating up Instagram in a major way this month.

It seems MUAs are using a few different recipes to concoct their creepy looks. Jessica Rose mixes gelatin with flesh-color paint to liquefy faces, for instance, while Makeup By Dani combines equal parts gelatin, glycerol and water. It's all about trial, error and terror.
