People Are Legit Pissed ‘Game of Thrones’ Was Nominated for So Many Emmys

  • The nominations for the 2019 Emmys came out this morning, and the final season of Game of Thrones was nominated for a record 32 awards.

  • The fans, who overall hated the final season, are not too happy about this.

Alright, guys. The 2019 Emmy nominations just happened, and as expected, Game of Thrones absolutely cleaned up.

The show was nominated for a record-breaking 32 awards. Thirty-two! For six episodes of television! It’s literally never happened before.

Special shout-out to Alfie Allen, who was the best Theon Greyjoy to ever Theon Greyjoy.

The thing about this is that while HBO has plenty to celebrate, obvs, the fans of the show aren’t super happy about the amount of recognition the show is now getting. Basically, people hated it, so now they’re kinda like “WTF?”

Either way, the amount of noms for the show means there will inevitably be a Game of Thrones cast reunion when the Emmys happens in September, which means more photos like this:
