Diane had several memorable moments during her short time on stage, and everyone on Twitter was obsessed.
The 2020 Academy Awards just gave us another reason to love Diane Keaton.
The actress, 74, presented the trophy for Best Original Screenplay at the Oscars alongside her former Something’s Gotta Give co-star, Keanu Reeves, 55. The two had serious chemistry on stage as they reminisced about their time on the Nancy Meyers movie, and everyone on Twitter lost their minds.

Though it was only a few minutes, there were multiple magical moments during their appearance. Since they are all equally amazing, we’ll just break the whole thing down here.
First, they low-key roasted the ending of “Something’s Gotta Give.”
Diane’s character, Erica, famously ends up with Jack Nicholson’s Harry—but a lot of fans were rooting for Keanu, who played Julian, to get the girl. So when Diane and Keanu had the following exchange, people were thrilled.
“That was a lot of crying in there, Keanu, lots of laughing and crying. And well, we had some really, well let’s be frank, good times!”
“It was amazing! Good times!” he said. “You and Jack!”
“Oh, well, I wouldn’t go that far,” she said.
LOL. Even Nancy had to admit she may have made a mistake.
Whoa. Maybe they did end up together.

She posted a photo of the two on Instagram that said, “Whoa. Maybe they did end up together.”
Diane almost accidentally read the winner too soon.
After their sweet exchange, Diane picked up the envelope with the winner and said, “Okay, I’m going to open this for you.” Problem was, they hadn’t announced the nominees.
Keanu quickly stopped her and said “No not yet!” She responded,“Oh no, not yet that’s what I mean.” She is too pure for this world.
Then, she also almost dropped the envelope.
After they listed off the names in that category, she went to open the envelope. But she fumbled with it a bit and almost dropped it.

After knocking into the microphone she handed it to Keanu, who revealed Parasite as the winner. Diane’s reaction was, in a word, flawless.
From start to finish, Diane had social media users laughing.

Though some thought she might have had one too many cocktails, and that she should “get it together,” we firmly believe she deserves an Oscar of her own for best presenter.
