People are freaking out about Shawn Mendes's shirtless Instagram for the most unexpected reason
Shawn Mendes is looking mighty fine in a shirtless photo he posted of himself on Instagram Feb. 11, but that’s not the reason the majority of his fans are gushing excitedly about the snap. Apparently, the Canadian singer has something even more attractive in the works: new music.

“Album come soon,” the 19-year-old captioned the shot, which features him in a tropical locale playing on a swing dressed in bathing trunks.
The comment proved to be the sexier part of the whole package, sparking a flurry of responses from his loyal base. “Can’t wait,” was the primary emotion expressed, while some fans begged for “touuuuuur!” or a “sneak peek?” or said, “I’m so impatient” … and some could only bring themselves to tap out “OMG.”
All this is a huge testament to Mendes’s undeniable talent; however, it should be noted that yes — of course — quite a few fans did comment on his physique as well. “Damnnnnnnn he looks fiiine,” one user summed up neatly.
There’s no official word yet on when Mendes’s new album will come out, but it will be the follow-up to 2016’s Illuminate, which featured the singles “Treat You Better,” “Mercy,” and “There’s Nothing Holding Me Back.” That year saw him receive a People’s Choice Award for Favorite Breakout Artist, and in 2017, an MTV Video Music Award nod for Best Pop Video for “Treat You Better.”
