If you thought mini croissant cereal was as extra as it could get, you'll be pleasantly surprised to see the latest version of mini breakfast cereal. Baby Yoda cereal is truly the cutest form of breakfast yet as it combines two of the most viral trends of the past few months.

What started off as pancake cereal has transformed into tons of different ways to make breakfast more fun. Waffle cereal and donut cereal are a few of the adaptations of the original trend, and all it takes it time, patience, and teeny tiny versions of classic breakfast foods to make them.

As for these Baby Yoda cereal pieces, it looks like they were made with pancake batter that was dyed in different shades of green, brown, pink, and black. Pancake art is not for the faint of heart—it requires a lot of precision. The bonus is that if you mess up you can still eat them, because even the mistakes are totally edible.

To make these Baby Yoda pieces, you'll have to dye your batter and then transfer it into something like a frosting piping bag so you can control how much comes out. Plastic bags with a small hole cut into the corner work just fine.

From there, you'll want to heat up a greased pan and use the brown, black, and pink batter to draw the face and ear details. Once those are cooked a bit you can finish it off with the green pancake mix in the shape of Yoda's head. Then, of course, you top it off with butter or syrup and some milk to make it a bowl of cereal.

Yeah, this is a lot of effort for a breakfast meal but imagine the Instagram photo, the look on your kid's face, or the sense of accomplishment that will come along with it! And if that's still not convincing enough, just wait it out until General Mills releases their Baby Yoda cereal this summer. Either way...patience is key.
