People Are Crushed About Their New Jeffree Star Highlighters Arriving Crushed

From Cosmopolitan

You and I both know the horror of dropping a pressed powder onto the ground and then opening it to find the previously beautiful product inside shattered to pieces - along with your heart. This is the worst because (1) powder clumps are super-fun to apply (kidding) and (2) you can no longer throw it in your makeup bag unless you want everything in there to be covered in sparkly makeup dust.

So customers were rightfully disappointed when their highly anticipated highlighters from Jeffree Star Cosmetics, an eponymous line by the beauty blogger, arrived shattered. They then took to social media to post pictures and warn others.

His highlighters, called Skin Frost, launched May 25 and sold out right away (Jeffree's products are dope and have reached cult-following status). But unfortunately when the gold shade, called "King Tut" shipped out, it arrived in pieces despite all the protective bubble wrap and sturdy pink packaging.

Some Redditors speculate the issue is with the product being too soft and the pan being too big, but Jeffree tweeted his own opinions on the issue in true Jeffree style.

Remember that time he called Kylie Jenner out on her faulty lip gloss applicators? Jeffree tweeted his disapproval over not only the quality of Kylie's lip products but also how the young celeb was handling damage control over the situation (according to Jeffree, she wasn't dealing with the issue until he spoke up).

Jeffree, however, has been handling his own mishap like a pro and tweeted out to his followers that anyone who received a broken one can expect to receive a new one.

So there you have it. No need to cry over shattered highlighter.
