The People’s Ball returns to Brooklyn Public Library this weekend

BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) — Everyone is invited to the People’s Ball this Sunday at the Brooklyn Public Library.

The free event, held the night before the Met Gala, is an annual celebration of fashion and personal style. Last year, TimeOut declared it was the best nightlife event in New York City.

Attendees can begin posing outside the library at 6:30 p.m. before walking the runway in the Central Library’s lobby at 7 p.m. This year’s hosts are actress Delissa Reynolds and celebrity stylist Kevin Aviance.

The event will also commemorate the 95th birthday of late street fashion photographer, Bill Cunningham. His muses, Marilyn Kirschner, Lauren Ezersky, Jean Stone, Lana Turner, and Amy Fine Collins, will be featured at the ball.
