Over the past several years, Cody Rigsby has evolved from a Peloton instructor with a devoted following to a household-name fitness superstar who made it to the finals of Dancing With the Stars who’s now on the verge of releasing his first book.

XOXO, Cody: An Opinionated Homosexual’s Guide to Self-Love, Relationships, and Tactful Pettiness comes out Sept. 12 and tracks Cody’s life, from being raised by a single mother who struggled with addiction to juggling jobs in New York City and ultimately finding incredible success. While the book details difficult moments, Cody displays his uncanny ability to inject everything with his signature brand of humor, reminding readers once again why so many people around the world have such a strong love for him and his personality.

For the latest episode of In The Know’s interview series We Should Talk, Cody discussed his decision to write XOXO, Cody and what kinds of things he considered when writing about some of his harder moments. He also talked about the experience of becoming a public figure, his lifelong love for Britney Spears, decompressing in Fire Island and much more.
