You've seen it in commercials, spotted it in the first season of And Just Like That... and your BFF is probably in a make-believe relationship with one of the viral instructors (we're looking at you, Alex Toussaint). Basically, you know the Peloton bike is the hottest fitness item to own going into 2024, so naturally, you assume it has a steep price tag to match. And you’d be right: it typically retails for $1,445. But we have good news. Thanks to the Peloton Black Friday sale on Amazon, you can get it for $350 off.

Yep, you read that right. Right now, you can knock $350 off your order and you can pick up brand's mat (was $75, now $45) at a discount, to boot.

In our opinion, Peloton isn't just an at-home exercise bike; it's an experience with perks, including easy-to-use delta-compatible pedals, a resistance knob to push yourself, a two-channel and rear-facing stereo speaker system to blast your workout classes (BTW, there are thousands), a ten-point multitouch touchscreen to get in the zone with the help of famous instructors (assuming you have the $44 All-Access monthly membership) and a built-in microphone to actively participate in virtual classes.

When purchasing the bike, you may be able to choose to add on free professional assembly depending on your location and Prime membership for an expert comes to unpack, assemble and set up the equipment for you in your home, as soon as two days after you receive it. (That's compared to the two- to four- week waiting period if you buy it from the official Peloton site.) Do note that the service is contingent on your location and Prime membership. You'll also get a full year of limited warranty on the bike and a 90-day refund or replacement policy.

Does It Work?

PureWow editors can confirm that the original Peloton (which is 59 inches by 23 inches 53 inches and considered small-space-friendly) is truly as impressive as everyone claims. "If you've ever been to a fun and engaging cycling class, it's just like that but with the added benefit of being able to sweat your butt off in peace and stop at literally any moment," Assistant Editor Destinee Scott shares.

Amazon reviewers have also mentioned that they don't regret buying the bike. One writes: "I started with an intro ride (a basic ride for beginners), and I loved the entire 20 minutes. The instructor was really personable, and even though [the workout] was recorded over a year ago, I felt like she was right next to me, encouraging me when I needed it." Others warn that you'll sweat like crazy but feel more fit than ever.

What Accessories Do You Need to Buy with the Peloton Bike?

In addition to the aforementioned mat, you'll need to buy the shoes ($88) and weights ($15) to accompany your Peloton, especially if you want to start cycling as soon as it arrives in the mail.

Ready to start thinking about the actual exercise? You’ll want to spring for the $44 All-Access monthly membership, so you can enjoy classes ASAP. There's everything from yoga and cycling to stretching, cardio and strength training. Let's go.
