Peepy Plush Toys Are Like Pokémon If They Liked Doing Crimes

If there’s one thing that the extremely online love, it’s lore. Therefore, it’s no surprise that many people on the Internet are head over heels for Peepy toys, a set of criminal plushies out on bail and ready to misbehave at your house.

Peepy spottings are common on social media. Most recently, they appeared during the eclipse on Monday, when their owners cheerfully shared photos of their miniature companions wearing protective glasses. However, they’re basically the main characters year-round. Owners will post photos of their Peepy plushies getting caught stealing money or engaging in illegal building techniques.

While some have said that Peepy plush toys have “dead eyes” or are “creepy looking,” I think they look adorable. That probably says more about how deranged I am, though.

The plush’s designers, itemLabel, have created nearly two dozen Peepy toys so far, according to their website, though many are sold out. Each plushie is described as having committed a “dangerous and disrespectful crime.” No details are given except that they are “out on bail and ready to come to your house.” While details of their crimes are scant, itemLabel does provide info on their personality, including their strength, wisdom, weakness, and birthday.

One of my favorites is “Devil Peepy,” whose strength is designed as “devil” and “wisdom” is listed as mean. Sounds like me when people make me go places without feeding me first.

ItemLabel also does its part to keep Peepy’s criminal lore ongoing, posting TikToks of its various characters getting into car crashes or lurking in a rough-looking hallway. ItemLabel describes itself as a “revenge-based company” that aims to make products to “show up and embarrass our enemies.”

Click through to check out some of itemLabel’s best Peepy plushies, at least in my humble opinion.

Angel Peepy

It’s only natural that “Devil Peepy” has a polar opposite. Funny that the “Angel” Peepy also committed a crime!

Golden Peepy

I’m a bit sad that the Golden Peepy isn’t available to buy and is only given as a prize by the store’s owners. I like to imagine that it’s gold because it stole a lot of gold.

Green Cube Peepy

It’s not often that you see plushies in the shape of a cube and I like it. It’s funky. I’m also waiting for you all to send me all the plushies shaped like cubes to prove me wrong.

Lemon Peepy

I literally thought, “Wow that looks like a lemon with feet!” Imagine my delight when I saw that it was called the “Lemon Peepy.”

Mistake Peepy

To be frank, I’m a bit offended on this Peepy’s behalf. The description reads: “The factory made this guy by accident, get rid of it.” There’s nothing wrong with curly purple Peepy plushies!

Thicc Brungus Peepy

This guy is half elephant. He literally has an elephant on his booty. I don’t know what to think about that but I also can’t stop looking at it. Note: The Peepy also completely resembles an elephant when you put it in a sitting position.

Skunpy Peepy

There’s a stinky Peepy and it is grand. I mainly want to get it to help me explain to my cats that it’s not proper to miss when you use the litter box.

Tough Lucky Peepy

I wanted to end with this Peepy because he basically represents how I feel sometimes. A little beaten down, a bit scarred, but still effing rad and ready to take on the world. From the product description:

“This is one of those guys who just doesn’t let the world get them down. Time and time again... they had a rough upbringing and things didn’t get any easier in college. Well, whatever.”
