These New Peeps Sugar Cookies Are Topped With Marshmallow-Flavored Icing
People have very strong opinions on Lofthouse cookies, aka those frosted sugar cookies at the grocery store. People also have very strong opinions on Peeps. For both of these treats, you probably either love or hate them. Now that the two have joined forces, your taste buds will either be very happy, or you have just discovered their worst nightmare.
The sugar cookies are topped with yellow marshmallow-flavored icing and pink, blue, and yellow chick-shaped sprinkles. You couldn’t get more festive for Easter if you tried! There are 10 cookies in each container, but the choice is yours if you want to share them or hoard them yourself. We’ll be doing the latter.
You can find the Lofthouse Peeps cookies at nearly two dozen retailers, including Albertsons, Certco, Fareway, and Supervalu, a PR rep confirmed to Best Products. Instagram account @threesnackateer also spotted them at Woodman’s.
The limited-edition cookies will only be around for spring, so don’t wait too long to pick up a pack or two. After all, if there’s one treat that fits perfectly into the season, it’s a cookie topped with marshmallow-flavored icing, right?
