Peace, Love and Little Donuts closes Fort Collins shop

After five years of frying in Fort Collins, Peace, Love and Little Donuts has closed its doors on South College Avenue.

The 1970s-themed shop, which boasted a big variety of little doughnuts, shuttered Oct. 31. The closure was due to the COVID-19 pandemic and its related business closures, owner Lindsey Wagner said in an email to the Coloradoan.

Wagner and her husband, Robert, brought the Pittsburgh-born doughnut chain to Fort Collins in 2017 when it opened at 632 S. College Ave. Two years later, it expanded into Loveland, with the Wagners opening a new location at 3525 Mountain Lion Drive.

Peace, Love and Little Donuts' Loveland location will remain open, and any gift cards, certificates or coupons can be used there, according to a sign posted in the window of the shop's shuttered Fort Collins location.

Prohibition might be long over, but... This Fort Collins bar was still named the top speakeasy in the U.S.
