Pauly D Is Letting His Facial Hair Grow Out While Being in Quarantine

For me, growing up, Thursdays were [Jerzdays] — I would watch Jersey Shore on MTV every week, and now I spend most of my summers at the Jersey Shore with my friends. Now that we are in quarantine and can't fist-pump up and down the boardwalk, we are back to binge-watching old episodes of the show and keeping up with the roommates via social media. The latest (and greatest) to post something noteworthy on Instagram is DJ Pauly D with an update to his facial hair, something we have never seen the reality star grow out.

When you think of the Jersey Shore there are a few obvious things that come to mind: Fist-pumping, loud music, and Pauly D's blowout. But just like a lot of us, Pauly D is going through some aesthetic changes during self-isolation, and those changes include growing out his mustache. On April 24, he shared a photo to his Twitter account, and wow, he looks SO different.

Pauly D is known for his iconic blowout, his tan, and his baby-smooth face, so to see him with facial hair is a shock to the system. And though he may be letting his facial hair do its thing, he definitely isn't going to let his hair go all-natural. The reality star recently signed a contract with the haircare brand Got2b as its brand ambassador — a match made in heaven, as he's been using their products since season one of the show.

As of April 27, Pauly is teasing fans on TikTok by putting a buzzer to his face captioning the video "to shave it, or not to shave it."

If I have any say in this, I think Pauly should keep the look going all through quarantine, at least until he's back on his GTL lifestyle. And other fans agree, at least according to comments like, "no-no don't shave...we all love it" and "love this look, Pauly 🔥." After all, who does he need to impress in quarantine, anyway?
