Supermodel Paulina Porizkova is showing off what it takes to keep her skin looking young and flawless. In her latest Instagram post, she showed off the results of an eye treatment she underwent that involved Ultherapy and a Plasma Pen, the former of which left her eyes speckled with red dots.

"Feeling fine—lookin’ freaky!😜 These are the after-effects of the Plasma Pen and Ultherapy yesterday, "she captioned her post.

She went on to explain just what the treatment entailed, and how it went.

"The Ultherapy leaves no trace, but the same can’t be said for the Pen. Guess who’s wearing sunglasses all day today?😜," she wrote. "AND NO, It doesn’t really hurt. They put on a numbing cream first, and then burn these little dots. Not bad at all. And after, it feels like a sunburn the first night. Day after feels utterly fine. But looks—interesting..."

The Plasma Pen works by transferring nitrogen plasma gas into the skin's epidermal layer by creating micro-traumas (those tiny red dots). Over the next 12 weeks, the skin goes through a healing process that produces collagen and elastin, which plump the skin and eliminates lines and wrinkles.

And Paulina is an Ultherapy convert. She told New Beauty in an interview that she swears by Ultherapy, an ultrasound treatment designed to stimulate blood flow to the skin. “Whether it’s delayed aging a little bit, I can’t tell because the fact is, I am getting older,” she said. “I keep doing it and hope something will happen. But I don’t feel ugly, so I think it’s working!”

But treatments aside, Paulina keeps her skin looking young by wearing SPF. She previously told Elle that she uses sunscreen every day. “SPF is the secret,” she said. “Long before anybody discovered it, I was using La Roche Posay Anthelios.”
