Paulina Porizkova is taking a trip down memory lane.

On Monday, the 57-year-old supermodel took to Instagram to share a photo of herself sitting alone in the same restaurant where she met her late ex-husband, the Cars lead singer Ric Ocasek.

The pair — who shared two sons together — tied the knot in 1989 and separated in 2017. However, they maintained a close relationship leading up to Ocasek's death in 2019.

"I’m sitting at a table at the Odeon restaurant, the very same table where, 39 years ago, I had my first dinner with the man who would become my husband," Porizkova began in the caption.

She explained that despite having dinner with all of the band members of the Cars, she "hardly noticed anyone else but the tall, lanky and awkwardly elegant man with turquoise eyes next to me."

During their dinner, Ocasek "walked over to a small table by the wall where a couple was having a romantic dinner. Without a word, he pushed condiments and food aside and then got up on the table, folding his body so the entirety of him fit right on the tabletop, along with the plates and food."

"Then he got off and slinked back next to me as if nothing happened," the model penned. "I thought he was the most compelling man I had ever met. Confident and funny in an absurdist Monty Python-esque way. I must admit, I'm not sure if it would have the same effect on me today."

In the comments, fans sent Porizkova's warm messages and thanked her for sharing the "beautiful" memory.

"This is such a beautiful memory, and you told it so well. Nearly brought a tear to my eye! Thank you for sharing," an Instagram user commented.

"Thank you for sharing such a pivotal and fun memory," a fan added.

Another wrote: "Beautiful story."

"Looking back, what a pivotal moment in your life, one that led you down a long path. Must feel surreal to you now," someone chimed in.

Ocasek passed away in Sept. 2019 of natural causes, later determined to be atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease. Porizkova shared that his death came as a "shock" two weeks after he underwent heart surgery.

"His death was not at all related to his heart or his surgery, which was two weeks earlier," she told Rolling Stone. "I don’t know how much I want to say about the surgery, but it was successful. He was recuperating really well. So his passing was a [expletive] shock."
