At 58, Paulina Porizkova Goes Pantless in ‘Shameless Thirst Trap’ Pic

Paulina Porizkova, 58, posted a “shameless thirst trap” photo to Instagram.
In the photo, she wore a bathrobe and showed off her incredibly toned legs.
The supermodel posted the photo to share an important story that “hits home” for the star.
If there’s one thing Paulina Porizkova’s followers on social media can expect, it’s the star posting stunning photos with thought-provoking captions. And her latest post is no different. The 58-year-old posed without pants, in a blue silk robe with her feet elevated on a table showing off her incredibly toned legs as a way to “lure” fans into reading her important caption.
In the photo, the supermodel and activist sported blonde-gray hair in a messy, bedhead style with a nearly makeup-free complexion. Of course, Porizkova looked absolutely stunning in the shot—but that wasn’t her main goal.
“This picture is a shameless thirst trap,” she captioned the photo. “So I can lure you in to read an important story.” In her caption, she continued to share a story from the book she is holding, The Secret Gate by Mitchell Zuckoff.
The bestselling novel, Porizkova explained, tells the story of a woman named Homeira Quaderi living in Afghanistan who flees to America to escape the Taliban, losing her son in the process. “She then returns to Afghanistan to attempt the impossible: to reclaim her child,” Porizkova wrote in the caption.
“Why am I telling you this story?” Porizkova continued, “The story of a woman trying to reclaim her child is the story of my life, my mother’s life. It hits home. We got lucky, but not without huge sacrifices. As did Homeira and her son.”
Porizkova also explained that Zuckoff “has split his advance” from the new book with Quaderi, who is currently living in America with her son. Quaderi has her own memoir, Dancing in the Mosque.“My incredible literary agent, Marly Rusoff, was the one to sell Homeira’s memoir here in the US, and then tirelessly fought to help to get her out of Afghanistan,” Porizkova added.
“From one author to another, thank you, Paulina!” Zuckoff wrote below Porizkova’s post. “How well do you write. When I hear my story through the words of a powerful woman; my faith in my struggle becomes stronger,” Quaderi added. “Thank you so much.”
Fans couldn’t wait to chime in, too. “Thank you, I am caught in your trap, can’t wait to read 📖,” one fan wrote. “I like your style in drawing attention to something important. 😍,” another added—in addition to many others writing that they were influenced to read Zuckoff’s novel thanks to Porizkova’s post.
Clearly, Porizkova’s “thirst trap” was effective. This isn’t the first time the supermodel has used her platform to promote a book this way, either. Porizkova has previously promoted her own book, No Filter, by totally baring it all, literally and figuratively, on Instagram.
Last October, she revealed the book cover with a spicy lingerie Instagram photo and later shared a makeup-free selfie to celebrate publication day.
She also opted to pose fully nude (with the book covering her chest) to promote the book and thank fans for their support. “Yes, I’m baring it all. No filters,” she captioned the photo. “This collection of essays contains things I want to share, things I have thought about, things that hold me back, and things that propel me forward. It is all of me. For all of you.”
Porizkova certainly has a way with words and never foregoes a chance to bring attention to something important. We love that the star always keeps it real, and we can’t wait to see what she’ll share next!
