  • Paulina Porizkova, 58, posed topless with silver body paint for the Elle Czech cover.

  • She shared a meaningful message about strength in the caption of her Instagram.

  • "As long as it is MY choice to undress, it actually makes me feel strong," she said.

Paulina Porizkova is an inspiration for women everywhere in her fight against ageism and with her killer strength. Case in point: The 58-year-old model recently bared it all on the cover of Elle’s Czech edition, and while she looks incredible, her message was the real show stopper.

Paulina posed topless, with her body painted silver. The No Filter: The Good, the Bad, and the Beautiful author is certainly living up to the book’s title in offering an unedited look to her audience.

“I was brought up in a culture and time where nudity was common and absolutely accepted as a part of being human. I was never made to feel ashamed of an unclothed body, mine or anyone else’s. So perhaps it stand[s] to reason that as long as it is MY choice to undress, it actually makes me feel strong. It makes me feel like I have nothing to hide. This is where my power lies. Not the nudity per se, but the ability to show myself as I am,” she wrote in her caption. Paulina said the silver paint was meant to replicate armor, and it made her feel like the most powerful woman in the room.

“And that is what I see in this photo. A woman who is not ashamed for being exactly who she is. A woman who refuses to be shamed. I do not feel like this woman every day. But this is the woman I’d like to become. The one who claims her space without apologies, without guilt, without shame, and - with or without clothes,” she wrote.

Paulina's Instagram followers loved the look, but especially her important words. “So powerful and regal. There’s so much strength in your beauty. Thank you for being such an inspiration and light,” wrote one person. Another added, “Warrior Queen!!! I love everything about this!! Strong and standing in her power, living her life on HER terms!! 🧝🏻♀️”

If you’re wondering how Paulina stays so strong—both mentally and physically—the model has dropped the deets on her daily routines. In a 2021 Instagram post, she shared how self-defense classes, like karate, kickboxing, and Krav Maga, have become a regular part of her workout routine in her 40s. “ The self-confidence it instilled in me has changed my life,” she said.

Paulina also likes the Nofar Method, a Pilates class on what the website calls the “Cadillac of reformers.” In a video on Instagram, Paulina showed herself doing the Nofar Method’s “100,” which included sit-ups on the reformer, as well as some mountain climbers and other core work.

“I have come to find out that ‘working out’ is that perfect little pill everyone is looking for. It makes you feel good, look good, good for your brain and body—a small miracle that has to be paid of [sic] by a little discomfort,” she shared in her caption.

When it comes to her diet, Paulina does intermittent fasting, per Page Six. “You don’t eat for 16 hours, and then you eat for eight,” Paulina said in a 2021 Instagram video, the publication reported. She takes the eating for eight hours to mean eating whatever she is craving, she explained. “If I need a fried chicken, then I’ll eat a fried chicken. It’s just the way it is."
