Paulina Porizkova, 56, took her sculpted bod for a hike wearing a bikini in her new Instagram video.
The bright blue string bikini came in handy when the supermodel showed off her best poses and cooled off underneath a waterfall.
Paulina has shared details about her new relationship with exercise, including how her workouts have impacted her mental health.
Paulina Porizkova, 56, may be on vacation, but she's not taking any time off on her Instagram. This supermodel is all about snapping pictures whether she's on the clock or not lately. In her latest video, she's showing off her totally sculpted bod while hanging out under a waterfall (no big deal).
It looks super refreshing, and Paulina looks super toned all over in a royal blue string bikini while striking her best poses in the water. "Do go chasing waterfalls! While on a jungle hike, we stumbled on this amazing waterfall," she wrote in the video's caption. Yep, she was wearing a bikini while hiking. Perhaps Vanessa Hudgens' recent monokini hike gave her the brilliant idea?
Paulina added: "Good thing I always wear a bikini to hike in the jungle.😜 I should also add that we got totally lost after this, and wandered the jungle for about an hour before finding our way. Thank you for the great camera work and for trusting me to get us the hell out @wanderer50 #watefall #junglehike #puravida @luxuriousvillarental."
Fans in the comments went wild for Paulina's post (can you blame them?). "Stunning 🔥," one user wrote. "Absolutely and always stunning!!!!!!!" another added, and a third commented that "feeling good on the inside radiants outer beauty outside 😉."
That's definitely true for Paulina. She wasn't always interested in fitness, explaining to Elle that she's only been working out for a few years. "I was just turning 40 and I was like, 'Wow, this is cool. I can actually have an effect on my body,'" she said.
Her time on Dancing with the Stars in 2007 helped her make the shift, she added. After she started spending more time working out, she noticed that exercise was improving her mental health, too. "I started exercising to help with my panic attacks and to get off antidepressants," she said. "I found out if I worked out every day my anxiety was kept a lot at bay. And I felt better."
Now, staying active has become a part of Paulina's daily routine. "It's become something that's like brushing my teeth. It's something I have to do," she told Elle. If you're still curious about her workouts, you can find her working on her killer Pilates moves in between photo shoots.
