  • Paulina Porizkova, 55, just showed off her toned abs in a new Instagram post.

  • She snapped a mirror selfie with her mom after doing a Zoom Nofar Method class.

  • The Nofar Method is a form of Pilates that focuses on accommodating past injuries.

Former supermodel Paulina Porizkova regularly shares pics of her life on Instagram, but the 55-year-old's latest post is among her most impressive.

In it, Paulina and her mom, Anna Porizkova, are standing in front of a mirror, posing for a picture in crop tops. Paulina is showing off her six-pack abs, and her mom—who looks like her big sister—is pretty close.

"Mom @porizkovaanna and I checking our abs in the mirror after a @nofarmethod zoom class," Paulina wrote in the caption, noting that her mom is about to turn 75.

"Since she turned seventy, she found the man of her life, spent two years in the Peacecorps in Uganda with him, and got married in a glorious wedding in Italy. She is also one of the first volunteers for the Pfizer vaccine," Porizkova wrote. "She is undoubtedly an inspiration - even though we have had a very complicated relationship. What inspires me most about her however, was her bravery in saying 'I’m sorry.' I still need to work on that one. #grateful #sorryseemstobethehardestword #mom #inspiration #sexyhasnoexpirationdate."

Turns out, the model hasn’t always been into fitness. In fact, she told Elle in 2015 that she didn’t start exercising until she was 40. "I never did anything before that. Just cigarettes and poor nutrition," she said.

But Porizkova said that all changed when she did Dancing with the Stars in 2007. "I realized that exercise does actually change your body," she said. "I was like, 'Wow, this is cool. I can actually have an effect on my body. It doesn't have to go to hell.'"

Porizkova also said that exercising helps with her panic attacks and even helped her get off antidepressants.

Now, she focuses on dancing, boxing, Zumba, rowing, and Pilates. Speaking of Pilates, that Nofar Method Paulina mentioned in her Instagram post is a form of Pilates that focuses on giving people an effective workout that can also accommodate past injuries. Classes can be done in person or remotely and cost up to $140 for six people.

Paula also tries to eat well. "I'm not for any diet. I just really, really believe in eating moderately," she told Everyday Health. "There’s nothing wrong with eating half a chocolate bar. It's much better than depriving yourself and then gorging. Allow yourself a little chocolate, a glass of wine, every day - but of course, don't eat things like Twinkies."

Clearly, that holistic approach to health and fitness is working for her.
