Paul Campbell's Best Movies: Get To Know the Charming Hallmark Hunk

Canadian-nativee Paul Campbell grew up in White Rock, British Columbia before his acting career took off. The 44-year-old had his big break when he played the part of Billy Keikeya in the Battlestar Galactica series. From there, television roles continued to come his way, making appearances in shows like Days of Our Lives, How I Met Your Mother, Scrubs and the Knight Rider reboot. Later in his career, he led the cast of the series Spun Out.

Some of his notable film credits include 88 Minutes with Al Pacino and Alicia Witt, The Big Year with Steve Martin and Jack Black and  Play the Game with Andy GriffithDoris RobertsLiz Sheridan and Marla Sokoloff.

Today, however, Paul Campbell's career has led him to a spot on one of our favorite places: The Hallmark Channel. Starring in more than 10 feel-good films, let's take a look at some of our favorite Paul Campbell movies — his newest rom-com Magic in Mistletoe, out December 8 at 8/7c on Hallmark. The film follows Campbell as a beloved author who finds himself in hot water on social media and must work alongside Lyndie Greenwood's character, a PR pro, to repair his reputation. 10. Surprised by Love (2014)

Hilarie Burton stars as a business woman at odds with her uptight parents, as she wants them to approve of her new boyfriend (Campbell). All the while, she begins to question the choices she's made in her life and start to fall for an old high school flame.

9. The Santa Stakeout (2021)

Tamera Mowry-Housley and Paul Campbell star as two detectives paired together to investigate a series of heists that have occurred during holiday parties around town. The duo pose as newlyweds and move into the house next door to their prime suspect: the chair of the Christmas committee in their community. As they become immersed in the act, the lines between real and fake begin to blur when they start falling for each other.

8. Dating the Delaneys (2022)

Dating the Delaney's is a heartwarming story about three generations of Delaney women as they look for love. The movie is led by Rachel Boston as Maggie Delaney, a divorced mom who is ready to join the dating world with the help of her young daughter and friend Michael (Campbell), a single dad who has a son that's friends with Maggie's.

The two decide to go on a "practice date," and they also connect when Michael lends Maggie some PR advice ahead of a big TV interview she has regarding her bakery. All the while, Maggie's daughter Emma and mother Barb are finding love for themselves.

7. Holiday Hearts (2019)

Peyton (Ashley Williams) is recruited by Dr. Ben Tyler (Campbell), her former crush, to help their mutual friend's daughter carry out the wish of her late mother. Working together during the Christmas season to honor her memories, Peyton must lock away the feelings she has over Ben's rejection from 10 years earlier.

6. The Last Bridesmaid (2019)

Becca (Rachel Boston) is "always a bridesmaid, never a bride." However, this doesn't deter her firm belief in romance, knowing that love will come naturally when the right person joins the picture. When she's asked to be the maid of honor at her cousin's wedding, they hope to pair her up with the best man.

However, it's the videographer (Campbell) capturing the ceremony and weeks leading up to it that catches her eye. As they get to know each other, they learn that they have more in common than they think.

5. The Cases of Mystery Lane (2023)

Birdie (Aimee Garcia) is a successful attorney while her husband Alden (Campbell) is struggling to settle on a career. To remedy this, he goes behind his wife's back to take classes in the hopes of becoming a private investigator, but one of his homework assignments lands him in the midst of a murder investigation. While Birdie just might be his ticket to solving it, he must come clean first.

4. A Godwink Christmas (2018)

Paula (Kimberley Sustad) accepts her career-focused attorney boyfriend's marriage proposal ahead of the holidays, but when her Aunt Jane senses she might not be too set on the idea, she invites her to her home in Nantucket.

It's there where she meets inn owner Gery (Campbell). When bad weather prevents her from leaving the inn one night, they enjoy some holiday festivities and her feelings for him start to grow.

Aunt Jane feels her time with Gery was a sign, but when her fiancée surprises her in Nantucket, she decides going forward with the marriage is her best choice. When she returns home, she realizes they aren't meant for each other, and returning to Nantucket, she's unaware that her Aunt Jane has devised a plan to bring her and Gery back to one another.

3. Wedding Every Weekend (2020)

Brooke (Kimberley Sustad) meets Nate (Campbell) at the singles table of the first of four weddings she's attending and the two learn they will be attending the same four weddings for the next four weekends. They agree to be "wedding buddies" to avoid the awkward set-ups and singles tables, but sparks start to fly as this friendship progresses.

2. Christmas by Starlight (2020)

When Annie's (Kimberley Sustad) family eatery, The Starlight Cafe, is slated for demolition, she's willing to do whatever necessary to keep it from closing. Will (Campbell) is the heir to the development firm responsible for the demo, but he comes to an agreement with Annie, who is a lawyer: if she poses as his legal counsel his father said he must hire after making some costly mistakes, he'll spare her family's cafe. The more time they spend together, the more they see how compatible they are.

1. Three Wise Men and a Baby (2022)

Three brothers played by Tyler Hynes, Andrew Walker and Paul Campbell team up to care for a baby that unexpectedly showed up on the doorstep of the firehouse where Walker's character, Luke, works. Attempting to each care for the child individually, they come to learn that the only way they can manage is if they all work together.
