  • Patti LaBelle is releasing a new line of frozen Chinese food.

  • The move comes four years after LaBelle partnered with Walmart to create a line of bestselling desserts, including her iconic sweet potato pie, also known as Patti Pies.

  • The line will be available in grocery stores nationwide, with a release date TBD.

Who doesn't love Patti LaBelle's sweet potato pies-also known as "Patti Pies?" The diva struck gold four years back when she partnered with Walmart on a line of frozen desserts–most notably pies–which went on to become bestsellers. Now, she's branching out with a new line of frozen Chinese food.

For the line, LaBelle is partnering with Stratis Morfogen, a restaurateur who made the announcement on his Instagram last week. Beneath a shot of the pair at his New York restaurant Brooklyn Chop House, Morfogen called LaBelle his "friend and new partner," adding that she was at the restaurant for a celebratory dinner.

Judging by the sample items Morfogen teased in his post ("French Onion Soup, Pastrami, Bacon Cheeseburger & Lamb Gyro Dumplings") the line will involve fusions of Chinese, French, and American cuisine. Although no launch date has yet been announced for the line, Page Six reports it will be sold in supermarkets, so you likely won't have to travel far to get your fix.

LaBelle's dessert line with Walmart includes the famous sweet potato pie, banana pudding cups, a line of fruit cobblers and the newly released country buttermilk pie, which-per Today-is based on LaBelle's grandmother's recipe. Is anyone else suddenly starving?
