Patta and Converse’s Weapon and Chuck 70 Sneakers Are Tailored for ‘Rain or Shine’
Patta and Converse are continuing their 12-year-long partnership with a two-pack of sneakers intended for “Rain or Shine.”
The Converse Chuck 70 Marquis, a streamlined version of the classic silhouette optimized for comfort with CX cushioning, is getting its first-ever collaboration as part of the collection and is joined by the low-top Weapon Ox. Durable Cordura fabric is swapped in for the upper of both sneakers, appearing in a multi-camo print for the Chuck and as part of an all-black scheme for the Weapon.

The two sneakers also share the use of D-ring eyelets, while the Weapon features a leather Star logo, custom woven tongue label and custom sock liner with graphics to match the accompanying apparel collection. Reflective branding appears on just one of the Chucks in a pair to add visibility in dim conditions.
A small clothing capsule then includes a rain jacket with an all-over print, sealed seams and reflective detailing. A hoodie and sweatpant set also match in utility green, while a T-shirt gets a burgundy-to-turquoise gradient.
The Patta x Converse “Rain or Shine” capsule will first release Friday, March 29, through Patta’s website, app and physical stores. Converse will then host an additional release April 4 through its own website to go along with select third-party retailers. Pricing for the collection has not yet been announced.
