Patrick Mahomes Hilariously Defends His Dad Bod & Fans Are Coming for the Haters

Players from the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers have begun their extensive rounds of interviews ahead of the 2024 Super Bowl, and Patrick Mahomes is being asked about much more than just his game. The Super Bowl-winning quarterback for the Chiefs was recently asked to do a Kermit the Frog impression (IYKYK) and to shed some light on what’s underneath all his pads.

“I have a six pack,” he insisted. “It’s just under the dad bod.”

Which is such a hilarious dad thing to say. Suuure it’s there, Pat. Whatever helps you sleep at night. (It probably actually is, given his workout routine, but we have to laugh about it.)

“If you feel it — I mean, there might be some skin there, but then underneath that — the six pack’s there,” he said. “You got to get real close and you got to squint a little bit and I think you’ll see it.”

But we have to know if the co-owner of the Kansas City Current can see the alleged ab muscles when she gets close and squints. Can she feel it underneath the deceptive skin?

Patrick isn’t the only one whose body has been getting a lot of attention lately. Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce went viral when he took off his shirt to celebrate during brother Travis Kelce’s recent game. And it wasn’t just the grownups who had something to say about the shirtless shenanigans. The girl dad — who shares daughters Wyatt, 4, Elliotte, 2 and Bennett, almost 1 with wife Kylie Kelce — was called out by his middle child.

“Dad’s boobs are showing!” Ellie reportedly said while watching her dad on TV.
