It's one of our favorites, too!

When you compare yourself to a two-time Super Bowl winner, like Patrick Mahomes, your similarity list might just stop at “likes football.” However, we recently learned that the Mahomie is a big snacker—and his all-time favorite late-night snack might be one you sneak to the kitchen for, too.

In an interview with “GQ Sports,” the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback shared the top 10 things he can’t live without. And, on the list with his Chiefs Super Bowl ring and Head & Shoulders shampoo (of course) were his favorite snacks.

“I have to keep my body in shape, so no one tell my trainer this, or the Chiefs, but I’m a big snacker,” he told “GQ Sports.” “I like to eat a lot of chips, candy, whatever it is—especially at nighttime.”

While Mahomes says that he’s either reaching for Doritos, Jolly Rancher Gummies, or Starbursts as a late-night snack, his wife Brittany shared that there’s only one snack that he eats “every night in bed.”

In an Instagram story Q&A, a user asked Brittany what’s a “funny habit that Patrick has.” To which she responded, “Eat Doritos every night in bed,” with a laughing emoji.

Mahomes isn’t the only celeb who has admitted to (or, rather, been called out for) eating in bed. “Today” host Hoda Kotb recently shared she enjoys the occasional Ritz cracker in bed, which sparked a debate with her co-host Jenna Bush Hager over the cleanliness of eating where you sleep. But it seems Mahomes is right there with you, Hoda.

Since we’ve got confirmation that the beloved quarterback can’t help himself when it comes to a late-night snack—honestly, who can?—you might be asking the bigger question. If Patrick Mahomes eats Doritos every night, what flavor does he choose? Spicy Sweet Chili.

“I always grab…a purple bag of Doritos, which I just got on. I used to be a Cool Ranch guy, but now I’m on the purple bag,” Mahomes told “GQ Sports.”

We all know that the Cool Ranch and Nacho Cheese Doritos are great, but we agree with Mahomes: if you’ve never tried Spicy Sweet Chili, you need to. They’re a nice marriage between sweet and heat—but they also have a great savory flavor, likely from the soy sauce in the ingredients. As for the snacking in bed part—a Dorito is great enjoyed anywhere, so we say, to each their own.

Now that we know Mahomes’ favorite late-night snack, maybe we’ll catch him in a Doritos commercial next season, alongside his various appearances with State Farm and Coors Light.
