While Meghan Markle did not join her Suits cast mates—including Patrick J. Adams, Gabriel Macht, Sarah Rafferty, and Gina Torres—at the 2024 Golden Globes tonight, she was still a topic of conversation.

While on the red carpet, Adams was asked about returning to the world of Suits, as there's a new Suits show in the works (not a reboot, or a spinoff, but one set in the same universe as the original show)."Let's go, I'd do it," he said. "I'm ready. Mike and Rachel in Seattle." (Adams played Mike, and Meghan played Rachel, on the original Suits.)

"I think Meghan is a fantastic actress," Adams told E! News. "We'd be lucky to have her back in the industry."

The odds Meghan makes her return to acting are slim, but never say never. In Prince Harry's memoir, Spare, he wrote about the decision she made to leave the show. "Meg packed up her house, gave up her role in Suits. After seven seasons. A difficult moment for her, because she loved that show, loved the character she was playing, loved her cast and crew—loved Canada," he wrote. "On the other hand life there had become untenable. Especially on set. The show writers were frustrated, because they were often advised by the Palace comms team to change lines of dialogue, what her character would do, how she would act."

In November, the Duchess of Sussex made her return to the red carpet, and spoke about the renewed interest in Suits. "It was great to work on, such a great cast and crew. We had a really fun time," the Duchess shared. "I was on it for seven seasons, so quite a bit. But it’s hard to find a show you can binge-watch that many episodes of these days, so that could have something to do with it. But good shows are everlasting."
