Our team consulted San Diego-based interior designer Michelle Harrison-McAllister and took recommendations from WH editors. What to look for in patio furniture sets

When shopping for outdoor patio furniture, Harrison-McAllister recommends visualizing how you want to use your space—think: dining, entertaining, cooking, etc—and the colors that will look the best in it. "Our visual story is just as important as our comfort," she says. And, some deals along the way don't hurt, either (wink, wink).
