Patients at HSHS St. Vincent Children’s Hospital get enchanting visit from fairy-tale princess

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – On Thursday, Children and families at HSHS St. Vincent Children’s Hospital in Green Bay were treated to an enchanting visit from a well-known fairy-tale princess.

Cinderella whisked her way through the pediatric hematology-oncology clinic, the pediatric care, and the pediatric intensive care units, hosting tea parties and sharing hugs and smiles.

The visit provided the opportunity for patients and families to create special memories within the hospital walls.

“We don’t just treat kids; we treat them like kids,” said Lauren Vanden Heuvel, Child Life Specialist at HSHS St. Vincent Children’s Hospital. “Visits like these bring such joy to children and families in our care.”

Thursday’s visit was coordinated by the Child Life team at HSHS St. Vincent Children’s Hospital.
