Welcome to the Love Hotline! Drag queens Jujubee and Thorgy Thor are answering your burning questions about navigating the world of dating. Whether it be over video chat or good old-fashioned letters, your two favorite queens have got you covered with their entertaining “expert” advice!
How a person takes care of their pet says a lot about how they’ll be as a parent. Sadly, this means that if you and your S.O. can’t even agree on how to raise your furry child, then you’re going to have some issues when it comes to a living, breathing human one.
Recently, a woman named Reese called Jujubee and Thorgy Thor on the Love Hotline to seek advice about this very subject. Reese and her partner are raising a pet fennec fox together, but they just can’t seem to compromise or agree when it comes to parenting styles.
“Essentially, I’m kind of wanting the next step: marriage, kids. But we kind of can’t get on board with even how we raise this little guy,” Reese explained, referring to her fox, Captain Pequod. “So I’m wondering, where do we compromise? How do we learn?”
Thorgy Thor told the conflicted fox mom that “at the end of the day, it is about compromise.”
“I think you guys need to, like, you give and take a little bit,” Thorgy said.
“And as long as Captain Pequod is happy, I think that the whole house should be happy,” Jujubee added.
Meanwhile, Thorgy Thor and Jujubee rummaged through the Love Hotline box and gave out advice on how to cope when your partner brings up their past sexual experiences and what to do when your ex asks out one of your friends.
