Parkland student shares tender moment with 'Voice' contestant

It was all about the fans on The Voice on Monday as they got to select the songs each contestant would sing. Team Adam member Rayshun LaMarr had a tender moment with one of his fans, Noa Golan, a survivor of the Parkland school shooting.

Noa connected with Rayshun because, despite his severe battle with lymphoma, Rayshun has continued living his best life. She told him, “You went through something, like, so horrible and traumatic and here you are living your life. You have the biggest smile I have ever seen.” Both of them turned to music after their tragedies, and Rayshun was glad that his music was able to help Noa. His energy onstage has been an inspiration to her, and it appears the feeling is mutual. Rayshun told Noa, “I’m thankful that we have music as something that can heal both of us. I wanted you to know how inspiring you are to me.”

The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on NBC. Watch clips and full episodes of The Voice for free on Yahoo View.
