Park Tool Focuses on Education with New Website and Grant Program
For years, Park Tool has been the go-to supplier for specialty bicycle tools aimed at professionals and amateurs alike. The company’s offerings are deep and thorough, with items for even the most esoteric of repairs. Thanks to the company's new website that debuted last month, customers can now even more easily figure out which tools they need for any job.
The Park Tool website is split into two halves: On the left side of the page, you’ll find links to Park's current catalog and a special revolving link highlighting new offerings as they become available. The right side link leads you to a searchable database of both common and more intricate repairs, as well as the step-by-step instructions needed to complete them. The menu also helps guide you to the tools needed to set up and maintain your workshop.

Of course, not everyone can afford all the tools they need. To that end, Park Tool has announced a Tool Grant aimed at helping non-profit cycling organizations.
The Park Tool Community Grant Program will outfit 10 501(c)3 non-profit cycling-based programs with the tools needed to outfit shops. Each of the 10 grant recipients will receive more than $1,400 in Park Tool products including:
• One Park Tool PK-66 Professional Mechanic Tool Kit
• Two Park Tool PCS-10 Portable Repair Stands
• One Park Tool BBB-3 Big Blue Book of Bicycle Repair
Applications for the grants are being accepted through December 31. Winners will be announced in mid-January 2016.
