Paris Saint-Germain Store to Relocate to Larger Space in NYC

Paris Saint-Germain is moving to a new home just in time for the holidays.

The French soccer team and its retail partners, Fanatics and Lids, will move into a larger, more-premium space at 535 Fifth Avenue in New York City on Dec. 15. The prior site, at 587 Fifth, opened in March of 2022 and was 4,400 square feet. It closed on Nov. 25. The new location is 5,200 square feet and is the largest club store in the world.

The new store will feature an extensive assortment of team jerseys, headwear, accessories, Nike and Jordan teamwear, one-of-a-kind collaboration products, fashion collections and New York-inspired Paris Saint-Germain designs available exclusively at the new store. It will include a customization station, collectibles such as signed game and non-game jerseys and other team items.

“We are very pleased with the welcome we have received from New Yorkers since our establishment in 2022,” said Fabien Allegre, chief brand officer of Paris Saint-Germain. “We look forward to welcoming them to an even larger and more innovative store in December, still located on the iconic Fifth Ave. This expansion reflects the success of the Paris Saint-Germain brand and the original boutique development strategy we are implementing worldwide.”

Lawrence Berger, cofounder and partner at Ames Watson, owner of Lids, added: “The decision to open an expanded version of our Fifth Avenue store was an easy one as we wanted to create an elevated space that provided customers with an unparalleled retail experience that is signature of our Club stores. This new store will be the largest to date, a premier destination that will offer unique licensed sports gear, headwear and accessories guaranteed to appeal to our diverse shoppers. We look forward to continuing our strong partnership with Paris Saint-Germain to create first-of-its-kind retail stores.”

The relocation is part of Paris Saint-Germain’s global merchandising partnership with Fanatics that kicked off in 2020 and sees Lids operating PSG stores worldwide. So far, the deal has resulted in store openings in Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Miami in addition to New York in the States and world capitals such as Seoul, Tokyo, London and Doha.
