Paris Jackson Slams Reports That She Attempted Suicide

"Lies, lies, lies, omg and more lies."

Paris Jackson is denying reports that she attempted to harm herself, and is clapping back at outlets spreading what she calls a false story.

On Saturday, March 16, TMZ reported that Jackson was hospitalized following an alleged suicide attempt. The article included an update that the actor and model was allegedly released from medical care and was reportedly at home under the supervision of her team.

Shortly after TMZ’s article was published, Jackson took to social media to denounce the report. As noted by Entertainment Weekly, Jackson replied to TMZ’s tweet by writing, “f*ck you you f*cking liars.” Other tweets declared that reports of self-harm were “lies, lies, lies, omg and more lies” along with “bullsh*t.”

Entertainment Weekly reports that Jackson allegedly needed medical attention on Saturday, but, according to a source, rumors of a suicide attempt are “simply untrue.” She has yet to address reports of any alleged medical attention over the weekend.

This isn’t the first time that Jackson has responded to media reporting on her mental health. Earlier this year, the performing artist denied reports of having a “meltdown” in response to the recent Leaving Neverland documentary, which covered sexual abuse allegations against her late father, Michael Jackson.

In January, when media outlets reported that Jackson had checked into a treatment facility to “prioritize her physical and emotional health,” she wrote on Instagram that the media was “exaggerating," adding: “Yes I’ve taken a break from work and social media and my phone because it can be too much sometimes, and everyone deserves a break, but I am happy and healthy and feeling better than ever!”
