Paris Jackson Made Her Runway Debut in Jean Paul Gaultier's Final Show

Jean Paul Gaultier is a man of many talents, and saying goodbye is definitely at the top of that list. For the designer's last ever runway show — which took place in Paris and showed off his Haute Couture Spring 2020 collection — he included all the things the brand is known for: fun, over-the-top creations, specific themes, and icons. A whole lot of icons.

There was Boy George, who popped up alongside other famous fans and Gaultier muses like Dita Von Teese, as well as Paris Jackson, AKA the daughter of Michael Jackson, who made her runway debut. Strutting down the catwalk with the likes of Gigi and Bella Hadid, Irina Shayk, and Joan Smalls, Jackson showed off a colorful snakeskin outfit and had a duster billowing behind her.

It was definitely a special night, saying "see you later" to a man who has given the fashion world 50 years worth of work, dressing the likes of Nicole Kidman, Madonna, and Rihanna. Still, we're hoping that this show won't be Jackson's last appearance on a catwalk. She looked like a natural up there!

As far as all those couture designs go, it was pretty much a round up of the classics, instantly recognizable as Jean Paul Gaultier pieces. We saw lingerie, tulle, and, of course, those famous sailor-inspired looks on the bodies of some of the world's top models. Coco Rocha also did a full step dance in a dark red and black ensemble.

Basically, the show felt like one huge party. At the end of the show, surrounded by celebrities, Gaultier danced, was held up in the air, and, of course, applauded.

The good(ish) news is that this is not end of the brand itself. Part of the designer's goodbye announcement mentioned a "new concept" and that we should stay tuned.
