Paris Hilton's New Photos of Baby Phoenix Are Drawing Hateful Comments & We're So Done with the Internet

Is nothing sacred anymore? Can a mom not share photos of her son without people swarming her with hateful comments? Can people really not stop themselves from bullying a baby?! Apparently not, if Paris Hilton’s latest post is any indication. She just shared adorable new photos of her “angel baby” and was met with the most ridiculous backlash. (That is so not hot!)

“My precious angel baby Phoenix’s first time in NYC. ✨👱🏼‍♀️👶🏼🗽✨” the proud mom wrote on Instagram today. She shared several photos of herself and her 9-month-old, who she shares with husband Carter Reum.

In the pictures taken from what looks like a luxe hotel room, Paris is dressed in a shimmery black-and-silver off-shoulder gown, while she holds her baby boy in her arms. He’s wearing corduroy pants with a Burberry t-shirt and matching shoes (because of course!). His wide blue eyes are staring at the camera as he gives a little smile, looking every bit the angel baby his mama described him as.

For some reason, though, people felt the need to attack the sweet baby. One judgy person wrote, “He needs a helmet. You celebrity status could be advocating for proper head shapes instead of acting like it’s not something he needs. Smdh.”

Like, what? If you aren’t Phoenix’s pediatrician, maybe don’t give him medical advice? It’s rude and totally uncalled for.

Another gross comment said: “why is his head so big? is the little one sick? That’s not normal.” Like, excuse me. You are being mean to a baby! What is actually wrong with some people? If you ever find yourself taking the type to type out a nasty comment to a literal baby (or any human, but especially a baby, c’mon!), then maybe you should take a break from the internet for a while (forever).

Luckily, the hateful comments were overshadowed by many positive comments. “Some of you are the reason people don’t share their babies with the world 🙄 he’s happy, healthy, & beautiful. Literally all that matters,” one person wrote.

Someone else said, “How can people bully a baby? What is wrong with you? It’s an innocent little baby 🥺🥺❤️.”

“Some of you on these comments are sorry excuses for human beings 😢,” another said. Someone else wrote, “Grown adults commenting on a baby’s appearance ain’t it. You look amazing and he is such a handsome boy!” Exactly!

During her trip to NYC, Hilton appeared on Tuesday’s episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where she opened up about Phoenix’s first word.

“Is this true? His first word was ‘mama’?” host Jimmy Fallon asked the “Stars Are Blind” singer.

She corrected him, “No. It was ‘yas.’” OMG! We can totally picture him saying that too.

“It was not. There’s no way. He said ‘yas’?” Fallon asked. Hilton responded, “Yes. Wonder where he got that from.” (Soon he’ll be “sliving!”)

Hopefully, Hilton, Reum, and Phoenix have a great time in New York, without any more haters. But if they keep coming out of the woodwork, she can just ignore them — which is just what rude bullies deserve.
