When we think of long straight one-length extensions, no one springs to mind faster than Miss Hilton, she inspired a generation. Paris Hilton has remained true to her Barbie aesthetic through the decades but in that time her blonde lengths have seen many evolutions; softening into curls, blossoming into bouncy blows, you get the gist. Well, this latest look is a real deviation from her waterfall hair (a look she's still partial to).

Paris' hair stylist, Eduardo Ponce, Just shared these BTS photos to Instagram showing Paris with long, bouncy face-framing layers and it's almost two hairstyles in one, it's giving 2000s choppy layers.

Curled in the ends, the bouncy layer finishes by the collarbone and almost creates a lob effect around the face. Delivering all the pros of the flattering and trending mid-length style, but without compromising on the queen's love of length. Can we call this a lob mullet (in the best way)? Because it really is almost two hairstyles in one. Swipe to slide four and you'll see what I mean.

The look is from Paris' Lighter music video with Steve Aoki, and the glam team was also made up of Melissa Hurkman on makeup, and Britney Tokyo behind that chic French manicure, adding to the 2000s aesthetic.

According to Eduardo, the hair harnessed GHD tools, Color Wow products, and was cut with his 'fave' shears from Olivia Garden. So put down those kitchen scissors you were about to try to DIY layers with. We all know how that will end.
