We Want To Hear From Parents Of Trans And Nonbinary Young People

As we get into Pride 2023, it's worth bringing attention to some of the most-targeted people within the LGBTQ+ community: trans and nonbinary young people (especially those of color).

A parent's support can be huge in the life of any child, but can have huge mental health implications when it comes to trans and nonbinary youth. So, we want to hear from parents who have helped out their kids on their gender journey — and what advice for others they have going through the same thing.

We know that every trans and nonbinary child deserves to feel affirmed and supported. So, leave a comment with your advice for other parents of trans and nonbinary kids, and we may use it for an upcoming BuzzFeed Community post. You can also contribute via a Google form here, where answers can be anonymous.
