Whether you live in a warm part of the country where the temperatures have been summer-like for weeks or you’re still waiting for that first 85-degree day, summer unofficially starts this weekend. No matter the weather, Memorial Day signals a time for sunscreen, flip-flops, community pool openings, cookouts, and all that summer brings with it.

Sometimes, summer activities mean we don’t have time to cook—outside or inside. That’s when the time-honored tradition of ordering a pizza kicks in. It’s the easiest and most crowd-pleasing of all take-out options (as long as everyone can agree on a topping).

Papa John’s knows that take out (or delivery) is bound to happen to many of us on Memorial Day weekend and it's offering a deal for the occasion. Papa Rewards members can score a free pizza the week after Memorial Day weekend if they make a purchase during the holiday weekend.

How To Get a Free Papa John’s Pizza

Papa Rewards members who order through the app between Friday, May 24, and Sunday, May 26 will earn a free medium one-topping pizza on their next order between Tuesday, May 28, and Tuesday, June 11, with a minimum $25 purchase.

That’s two full weeks to redeem the free pizza offer during a busy time for many of us, especially families attending end-of-school-year ceremonies, including graduations. How helpful would a free pizza be when you’re feeding a hungry bunch of high school seniors or growing 14-year-olds who have just graduated from 8th grade?

This offer is good no matter why you’re choosing to order pizza. There’s just one problem: agreeing on the pizza topping. Will it be the classic pepperoni? The divisive pineapple? Or the “it counts as a daily serving of veggies” spinach?

If your hungry crowd isn't feeling like pizza, not to worry. There are plenty of restaurants open on Memorial Day for eating in or ordering out.
